Yesterday, went to my cousin's house to have dinner and while eating we came to this topic of going Poly or Jc. & both my aunt and uncle insisted that its' better to go Jc if we want to go University. So I was pondering my thoughts since yesterday if I've a choice of mine whether to go Jc would I chose to? All along since young I've a goal for myself to achieve which is to finish studies at Uni. So i've always wanted to go for U. But I never thought to go to Jc before. One of the reason is I think its' kinda risky if I failed there I've to drop to Poly and go for another year. Which is more wasteful. So my goal is always Poly>Uni. But its' kinda hard to achieve like top 10 or 15% whereby there's alot people competing together. My have always wanted to go Poly because I think that its' more easy and fun plus we can have a step earlier to experience other stuff. But it seems like Poly subjs/courses is not easy too. So must as well go for Jc and take the subj that i've always studied since primary 1(I mean related)?
Its' kinda hard to chose. So if I really achieve points that can go Jc, and I think i've the capability to cope well by the time I'll chose to go Jc. Because I don't want to waste my time and regret for going Poly and not achieving 15% top. Going big U is a dream of mine. So I must must must go for it. :D & my tutor set a target for me. He said I must at least an average of 15 points. Thats a at least situation. So I've 15 points for border line. He add one more line "You must be like your brother's standard." Which is doubly hard. My brother score 13 points her his prelim which means for O's he'll score lower. & according to him almost all his papers is easy-busy. One thing I can really envy about him because even though its' actual O level, he didn't spent time keep on studying he studied with his laptop switch on and his game going on. Which is horrible. & I was kind of shock that my brother want to go to University too. Its' hard to say now. So if I really score badly or under expectation for my O's next year. I'll go for Poly anyway.
